Defending the fundamental right to one hour of outdoor exercise per day for all persons detained at the Montreal Detention Facility.
In 2023, Danny William Perez won two (2) Habeas Corpus hearings in criminal court on the same allegations raised in the class action.
The plaintiff brutally established over 23 deadlocks against all humanitarian logic and fundamental rights. Justice Perreault granted exterior court time but did NOT acknowledge these systematic deadlocks depriving detainees of their most basic rights.
A formal complaint was filed on June 30, 2026 with the Canadian Judicial Council (Judges Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. J-1) against the Hon. Justice Éliane B. Perreault for her refusal to acknowledge the 23+ documented systematic deadlocks.
